The National
Football League Frequency Coordination program :
Allow
me to introduce myself, my name is Jay Gerber, I am the Founder and Manager of
the National Football League Frequency Coordination program which has been in
operation for the past 10 seasons. We have been pleased to work closely with
the Society of Broadcast Engineers during this time in this effort. Our mission
as part of the National Football League is to Frequency Coordinate every game
in or out of the country including the
playoffs and Super Bowl.
At
this particular time, we are researching new Game Day Coordinators
(GDC) for the Cincinnati Bengals home games and are
interested in talking with any broadcast engineers who may
have an interest in working for the NFL in the capacity of a GDC. Broadcast
engineers have been the backbone of most of our GDC crews around the country as
most of you
have a familiarity with RF, which is an important element in
carrying out the GDC role.
This
is a part time responsibility requiring attendance at every Cincinnati Bengals home game, there is a fee paid for these services.
We would like to involve as many as 3 or 4 people.
The
NFL supplies Official outerwear, All Access credentials, parking, all technical
equipment, plus Laptop with a proprietary database. We also provide
classroom and on site training sessions. Experienced coordinators will
attend games with the new personnel until they have a comfort level and have
met all of the associated team personnel.
Please
share this with your membership and let me know if there is interest in these
positions.
Interested
members can feel free to contact me, preferably via my email or cell phone as
noted below.
Thank
you,
